I am an Assistive Technology Trainer, with 15 years experience with Access to Work and DSA clients and students.
I train on aspects of Assistive Technology on both Windows and Mac.
All the software which I train clients on, I also use to help manage my own dyslexia and dyspraxia. This has allowed me to take a very proactive approach to tailor the training to over the 2,000 plus clients I have worked with, which have covered a very wide range of disabilities and neuro diversities, including some visually impaired.
I also support clients with Manipulation of Numbers.
I am also a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant and an Engineer - where I have worked in various industries; with a good spell in the automobile industry,
In these roles, it was crucial to be able to explain complex things in a very clear manner, without diluting the points to non engineering and non finance staff. These experiences have been invaluable supporting clients with Manipulation of Numbers.
