Our Synesthesia quiz helps to see if you have any traits of Synesthesia. There are a number of questions throughout the quiz that ask you questions regarding how you perceive things, and other areas.
Please note that the quiz is just to see if you have any traits of Synesthesia- it does not diagnose Synesthesia. Unfortunately, we don't have the capabilities to offer diagnosis. If you score highly on the Synesthesia quiz, we would recommend speaking to your GP.

What is Synesthesia?
Synaesthesia is a neurological trait or condition that results in a joining or merging of senses that aren’t normally connected. People who have Synesthesia are referred to as Synesthetes. They often “see” music as colours when they hear it, and “taste” textures like “round” or “pointy” when they eat foods.
If you have synesthesia, your senses tend to intertwine, giving your perceptions of the world with an additional dimension. For example when you bite into a food, you may also feel its geometric shape: round, sharp, or square.
When you’re feeling emotional over a person you love, you may see colours playing in your field of vision, when your close your eyes.
Another example is when you may be reading, you may hear voices in your head that accompany the words you are reading. It may also feel like a characterizing of each sentence with an identity of its own. It is similar to if when you speak on the street.
All the above are what a person with synesthesia may experience.
Common challenges of Synesthesia:
