Sula Armstrong (she/her)

(ATW) Neurodiversity Associate Coach | Neurodivergent

I will ensure that you understand how coaching can support you and what to expect. I'll make the coaching space feel as comfortable as possible for you as a neurodivergent individual.

Why Work with Me?

  • Sessions are tailored to you, including practical tools that may help you. We will focus on your strengths and how best to apply them in the workplace.

  • I will also help you generate solutions and new ways of thinking to support any challenges you may face.

  • I identify with some neurodivergent traits in the autism spectrum. So, where it may help you, I'll share my own experiences in the workplace.

A brief career history: after starting out in scientific research, I pivoted to journal publishing. From there, my planning and organising skills naturally took me towards project management, and eventually I managed organisation-wide change programmes. I then changed career to coaching. I was a financial coach for 3 years, helping people take action to manage their money. I now focus on coaching neurodivergent individuals to thrive at work.

Testimonial

Sula has been instrumental in helping me understand my dyslexia and the challenges it brings [...] She has expertly broken down complex tasks into small, manageable chunks, making it easier for me to process, digest, and work through them. By empowering me to take back control of my hectic working patterns, she has enabled me to regain a sense of balance and order in my professional life.
Sula was incredibly supportive and understanding. She adapted to my mood and energy levels, personalising and flexibly supporting me in each session. I was really happy with how much I gained from the program of sessions. We covered quite a lot in a short space of time, but it didn't feel too overwhelming.

More About Me...

I am committed to CPD (continuing professional development) in the area of neurodiversity, as well as coaching models and best practice. I am accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) which demonstrates my foundation of coaching practice and commitment to ongoing learning. In 2023 I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Business & Personal Coaching, gaining a Merit grade. In 2025-2026 I will complete a further Postgraduate Certificate in Neurodiversity Coaching. This will ensure I am informed with the latest best practice in coaching neurodivergent individuals in the workplace.

I enjoy spending some of my time volunteering for two local causes. I support a local animal welfare charity with administration and communication. At a local foodbank I process and organise donations in the warehouse. It's also important for my work-life balance and wellbeing to take a break for exercise every day: mainly yoga, pilates, walking and cycling.
