Understanding your Quiz Score

Understanding your Quiz Score

Whilst at EI we are committed to supporting neurodiverse individuals, we are not healthcare professionals. As such, we cannot provide any medical advice or diagnosis. Our quizzes are simply an indication that you might exhibit neurodiverse traits.

Assessing and diagnosing neurodivergence such as autism, AD(H)D, dyslexia or dyspraxia requires comprehensive evaluation conducted by a qualified healthcare professional, for example a psychiatrist, psychologist, or developmental pediatrician. They use specific diagnostic criteria and assessments to evaluate an individual's behavior, communication, and social interaction patterns.

If you suspect that you or someone you know may be neurodiverse or have neurodivergent traits, we recommend reaching out to a healthcare professional who specializes in neurodevelopmental disorders for a more thorough evaluation. They can provide the appropriate guidance, support, and assessments needed for an accurate diagnosis.

Remember, seeking professional help is crucial to ensure an accurate assessment and to receive appropriate support and resources.

At EI we value transparency and believe it is important that you are able to understand how your quiz scores are calculated. Please note that this is a simplified scoring and interpretation and should not be used as a substitute for a proper evaluation by a healthcare professional. A qualified professional can conduct a thorough assessment and provide an accurate diagnosis based on a comprehensive evaluation of your symptoms and experiences.

Below we have listed a breakdown of our scoring systems including references to our sources for the following quizzes:

  • Autism

Our quiz is drafted based on and includes statements from the Autism Spectrum Quotient (AQ) questionnaire. The AQ is a self-administered questionnaire developed by researchers to assess the extent of autistic traits in adults. 0 - Strongly Disagree or Never
